Peer Feedback

Feedback from peers has been a valuable part of my learning experience. It has helped me understand how others see my strengths and where I can continue improving. Receiving feedback is sometimes challenging, but it is also very useful because it provides a different perspective on my performance.

Feedback I Received

One piece of feedback I received was that I am responsible and reliable in completing my work, but I could contribute more actively during discussions and group collaboration. My peers felt that I was careful and committed, but sometimes too quiet when sharing ideas, especially in group settings.

This feedback was meaningful to me because it reflected something I had also noticed in myself. Sometimes I focus so much on accuracy and careful thinking that I become hesitant to speak, especially when I am not fully confident in my English. Hearing this from others helped me see that stronger participation would improve not only my own learning, but also my contribution to the group.

How the Feedback Influenced Me

This feedback encouraged me to reflect more deeply on my communication style and confidence. I realised that being responsible is important, but active participation is also an important part of professionalism and teamwork. If I do not share my ideas, my contribution may not be fully visible, even when I have prepared carefully.

The feedback also helped me understand that improvement does not always require major change. Sometimes it begins with small steps, such as speaking once more in a discussion, asking a question, or sharing an opinion more confidently. This made me more aware of the importance of engagement and communication in both academic and professional environments.

Changes I Made

After receiving this feedback, I started making a more conscious effort to participate. I prepared more carefully before class and group activities so that I would feel more ready to speak. I also reminded myself that communication is part of learning, and that I do not need to be perfect in order to contribute.

Over time, I became more willing to share my ideas and ask questions. Although I am still improving, I have become more aware of my communication habits and more confident in taking part in discussions. This experience taught me that feedback should not be seen as criticism, but as a valuable tool for growth.

What I Learned From Peer Feedback

Overall, peer feedback has helped me become more self-aware and more open to improvement. It reminded me that learning is not only about completing tasks, but also about developing communication, confidence, and teamwork. In the future, I will continue to welcome constructive feedback and use it to improve both my academic performance and my professional development
